At Mass this morning I felt like the priest was speaking directly to me. The homily was about the very familiar parable of the prodigal son and the importance of fathers in the lives of their children and families. My father has always been there for me no matter what even when I have let him down in the past. He took care of my mom every day without complaint throughout all of her years of illness. I am so proud of him in all he has done in his life as a great father, husband, provider, and World War II veteran. I love you dad. We are all so proud of you
