At U of M with Dad as they are removing his skin cancer. Just spot 1 today- when they remove the stitches next week theyll do spot 2. Doc was just concerned w/his heart issues that its not the actual procedures that would be too much its all the meds in between each layer of removal that would make his heart race & could cause a heart attack. So doc had a real good rapport & Dad is now understanding cant avoid multiple sessions. Quite interesting as Im watching them to start layer 1 now but have to leave when they start cutting. Might talk to doc to c if Lexie can get permission to b in there next week as this would be a good learning experience for nursing & maybe could count as job shadowing for nursing prep at school?!
