At a paraprofessional workshop on dealing with mental & behavior disorders in kids. Sixty people in the room. Three are men....me, another guy, & the presenter. I feel totally comfortable, but do wish there were more men who worked in my field. The women who do this work are awesome, but kids need to have male role models... if for no other reason than the number of men who are absent (physically or theoretically) from the home.
