At approximately 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 17, 2014, Piqua Police officers were dispatched on reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Wood Street. Investigation disclosed that two white male subjects in a black Jeep threatened two other subjects walking down the street, and that at least one shot was fired by the driver of the vehicle from a shotgun, as the passenger displayed a handgun. A 15-year old believed to have been the passenger from the vehicle has been charged with Tampering with Evidence, (felony of the third degree) and Aggravated Menacing (a misdemeanor of the first degree). Wanted for two counts of Felonious Assault (a felony of the second degree), is Justin L. Sturgeon, a white male, age 18, 6’2”, 160 lbs,, blue eyes, brown hair, at large. Sturgeon may still be driving a 1997 black Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, Ohio License BE01VW.
