At bedtime tonight, Will & Annie asked Jesus into their hearts. :*D Will started the convo about being thankful that Jesus was always w/ us & I told him, Yes, absolutely. And in your heart when youre ready to ask Him. And he said he was, but Annie said she wasnt yet. So we explained what it meant & what Jesus did for him & he started to pray on his own. He just simply asked, Jesus, will you come live in my heart? And then we walked him through a very basic salvation prayer. When he was done he exclaimed, Im so happy Jesus is in my heart! And immediately Annie said, OK! Im ready! Hehe.. what a blessing. So simple, so profound- just like a child. Now I know someday they will more fully understand their decision, but you should have seen the joy on their faces after they prayed! And to explain how Jesus is still ALWAYS w/ them, protects them & how He gave His angels charge over them now as well.. they LOVED that part! :D #childrenareablessing #thankYouLORD
