At certain point we have to suspend all political calculations and say that there are redlines our morals do not allow us to cross. Tunisians from all political stripes and background must come together to denounce the latest verdict issued by military court that amounts to a slap on the wrist for those who killed or ordered to kill innocent Tunisians during the revolution. These verdicts were as the same time a slap on the face to the victims’ families and all Tunisians. We must react to this disgusting miscarriage of justice and send a message that if the justice system does not take corrective measures that we will not honor any political agreement or deals that the major political groups take. There is no moving forward without accountability and that starts with those who gunned down peaceful demonstrators.
