At first glance it appears that My AOL email account is sending out masses of junk mail to all my contacts . I am not alone there are thousands of AOL users affected. The latest theory on what happened is that an insider sold the addresses??. It is not the fact that i have a virus , as i dont! The emails do not originate from my e mail account. So the addresses have been stolen. I am just giving the heads up to anyone who may have friends who email them from an AOL account. Please dont open anything unless you are sure it is legitimate. And the most annoying thing was the title of the email address was news and as it was a time when i wanted to send out my good news it couldnt have come at a worse time. Apologies to anyone affected.
