At one point in my I thought there was something wrong with me spiritually. I didnt shout, I didnt hoop or holler and I couldnt say fancy prayers with tons of verbiage. During service I would remain still and just listen, I would bow my head and whisper softly to God my thoughts. I just didnt read my bible but I explored it! Lol I wanted to know times, dates, geographical location, psychosocial/spiritual state of mind of each person mentioned, government and politics of that time and the lesson to be learned. I just wanted to experience ALL of God outside the norm...I later realized that a relationship with God is personal. It cant be taught, put in a box labeled church tradition and it couldnt be played with. It just had to be genuine. I was me with Christ. I didnt pretend to be someone else. When I accepted it he began to do a work in me that could never be explained. #latenightthoughts
