At the Red Cross today I met a Foster Mom who brought her teen daughter down to make her first whole blood donation. Her daughter couldnt donate at the high school blood drive, but so wanted to do her part. The recipient of that blood will never need to know about the compassionate determination of that girl in a wheelchair and the love of her mom making her desire to help her daughter realize a dream to help others. Real life deals up cool things right in front of us... If we only take a moment to see them.
