At the Salford Champion of Champion Awards yesterday. Last ten winners of the award fighting it out to be the decades Best of Best. My entry was BREATHE from 2007. Great authors Gill Lewis, Sally Nicholls, Angie Sage, Paul Adam and Alan Gibbons sharing the stage. The winner was a book called Michael Morpurgo by a dog called Shadow. Nice dog.
