At the Tiffin City Board of Education meeting on October28, 2014, Roland Zimmerman mentioned several changes recommended by architects to the Lincoln building that he did not believe were necessary. One of those changes was a driveway, that Mr. Widman explained was a student safety issue. Apparently nothing can stand in the way of shaving some dollars from the project. I believe any parent considering sending pre-school students to the proposed Tiffin Learning Center should be asking just how deeply into the program this corner-cutting mentality has gone. Will corners be cut when it comes to staff? Equipment? Materials? Curriculum?
