At the Worlds Jiujitsu tournament a huge step for me was getting there, to actually compete in a major tournament. I was and am disappointed but I will continue to learn and grow. I lost to the Champion of my division but I will be back. I want to thank all of my team mates and family from NineNine Jiu-Jitsu, Professor Eduardo Telles, Master Carlos Valente, Ozzy Dlimma, Danny Boll, and Miles Di Peri. I also want to thank my brother Zac Shepard for the guidance and help and Johnny Billingslea for your support and friendship. Countless others motivate me, thank you. Without all of you, I would have never made it there. 11 knee surgeries, asthma and my tender age gave me alot of doubts that have been erased. I have a ton of work to do but my love for my jiujitsu friends and the sport has grown even more. Again, thank you everyone, this journey is amazing.
