At the YMCA, water safety is our first priority around pools. From June 23-28, the Y is offering FREE swimming lessons at its Youth Center, 2400 Seventh Avenue North, to the first 160 kids. Register your children, ages 3-14, Monday-Friday, June 2-6, 5-7 p.m. at the Center. Certified YMCA lifeguards and swim instructors will teach kids safety and swimming from 6-8 p.m. each day. BRING YOUR OWN SWIMSUIT! A graduation and safety training day for the kids and their parents will be held on Saturday, June 28 at the Youth Center. For complete information, call 801-7285.
