At the age of 2 years old Jose Chami-Ka Chacon was brought from EL Salvador to Belize to live by his parents......not his choice......he attended school in Belize from Primary to UB. He has never been interested in or participated in elections anywhere but Belize. In 1997 by CHOICE he applied and got his Belizean nationality. He was unemployed over a year and by choice he did not flee to the states like so many Belizeans when things get rough, he stayed and weathered the storm. IN 2000 he got a chance to go study in Vienna on a scholarship and also to Cuba and he declined both. These are the facts if you are interested Belmopan. Dont dwell on rumors find the facts.....Jose loves Belize as much as any Belizean can claim...he is a product of Belize in all the ways that matter.
