At the age of 29 Brittany Maynard ended her life. She made the decision after being told by doctors that she only had six months to live. There has been a lot of debate on this. Right or wrong. Moral or immoral. I think at the end of the day it should be a wake up call that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. That the life we have is the life we have RIGHT NOW! Not next week. Not yesterday. Today, this moment you are in, is the only guaranteed moment you have. Spend it wisely. I am reminded a lot and talk a lot about perspective in life. Something I have gained with experience, good and bad, over time. Dont spend your time debating this womans life and death. Instead, take that time to live your life. Call your loved ones, tell them you love them. Do something nice for a stranger. She said in her final words to pay it forward in life...so that is what I am going to continue to do...pay it forward...
