At the beginning, I was denied from entering the A&E ward, but by chance I sneaked in stealthily. It was a poignant scene to witness my Ah ma lying on the bed so restlessly, but I was so helpless; I could not stay by her side because im leaving Sg tonight. All the while I was choking back my tears, she knew im leaving soon . Hence,tears slowly welled up her eyes. I had to get tissue from the stranger beside me to wipe off her tears gently. Her left hand with the extra weights contributed by the sickening needles was raised, she was attempting to gesture at me, from her gesticulation, I deduced it as go for your trip, Ah ma will be fine. . Momentarily I couldnt hold back my tears anymore, my tear glands went insane..and it was worse when she actually muttered 別哭! Aka dont cry in chinese, it literally pressured my tear glands to go on danger mode, reason being she has lost her speech upon getting stroke, and just now she has sputtered out two words, this indicated that her will was strong! STAY STRONG! I WILL SEE YOU ON 7TH AUGUST, PLEASE STAY STRONG. ..I DONT WANT TO BE A SINNER and AN UNFILIAL GRANDSON! Exited with swollen and puffy eyes, then my aunties coaxed me: dont fly back, we will take care everything here. Go study and enjoy in peace. How to enjoy? Please.. everyone please give her your blessings!
