At the close of this day I am reflecting on the last three+ years - TopicsExpress

At the close of this day I am reflecting on the last three+ years and full of so many thoughts - so much to be grateful for - so many new friends and so many blessings in this community called Tacoma. Best Loved Baby has been a part of my family - my conversations - my friendships. I feel overwhelmingly blessed by the opportunity to learn and grow in ways that were beautiful most of the time, and challenging, and full - very full. I cannot thank you enough for the beauty you have brought my life. I love this city - and that love has deepened and grown. Although closing this chapter in my life is sad, I am looking to this next adventure with open arms. Nearly 17 years ago I decided to become a mother. With that decision came responsibilities and blessings of their own - and this is why I needed to close the store. I committed to some pretty wonderful people to not just provide life but rather to teach life, to steer life and to guard life. I needed to focus on those promises. The parenting lifeline is short - and cannot be revisited. I thank you for your understanding in my decision and your verbal and otherwise support as well. You have truly been rocks to me through this process! To those who have helped in this adventure - Addie Wojahn Amanda Fisk, Tahlia, and others - I thank you. We could not have been where we are without you. Best Loved Baby has been blessed by you, so have the friends who have visited, and so has my family. You are angels and I love you. To Michael Daniels - the originator of this path and the man I love - I am grateful for your prayers, support and understanding. You have the capacity to make everything better. Really. To my children - I thank you for your patience when I was away and for your longstanding devotion to Mom and Dad. We love you. To those who consigned their items in my store - Carri, Gloria, Cassie, Melisa, Jennifer, Donna, and others - your beautiful handcrafted works of art have added to the beauty of the store. Thank you. Allie and Gloria - your willingness to help and fill in have made every difference in times of need and allowed for family time, sick time and vacation time. Thank you. To my loyal and wonderful customers/friends - you are the lifeline of local - keep paying it forward in Tacoma and other places. I love each and every one of you. May you all go forward and be blessed for you have blessed me in ways I cannot compose and express in words. Always in friendship and love - Heather Larson-Daniels
