At the end of the day, I completely understand payin your Quarterback and keepin him as your guy for the future because he is your guy. But these contracts that Quarterbacks are gettin now a days is ridiculous man. There are only a handful of Quarterbacks in my opinion that honestly earned the contracts that they received in seasons past and those guys are: Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Joe Flacco, because they earned them based off of the way they played and the production of past seasons. The guys that didnt earn the money that they received, Jay Cutler: 7 years, $126 million (how about you get your team to a Super Bowl and win one, Colin Kaepernick: 6 years, 126 million (win a World Championship first man), Tony Romo: 6 years $108 million dollars (how about you at least get your team to a NFC Championship Game and stop chokin at the end of a regular season each year), Matthew Stafford 5 years $76.5 million (signed a 3 year $53 million dollar extension) (how about you actually get your team to the second round of the NFC Playoffs first), Andy Dalton 6 years $115 million dollars (how you go out and actually win a playoff game and at least try and get your team to the AFC Championship Game, can you do that Andy?), and Matt Ryan 5 year deal worth $103.75 million (hey Matt how about you actually take your team to a Super Bowl and win it for once, can you do that?). I just ran off 6 Quarterback that have a combined playoff numbers of: 7-13 combined playoff record 3 Conference Title Game appearances 1 Super Bowl Appearance 0 Super Bowl wins 0 Super Bowl MVPs My boy Joe Flacco playoff record by himself is 9-4, 1 Super Bowl victory and Super Bowl MVP And you mean to tell me that those guys I just named for the exception of Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Flacco, and Brees are all justified in gettin the money that they got. Man get outta here man...child please...
