At the end of the day leaves time for reflection... I couldnt be prouder of the amazing turnout we had today. Bikes and Hot Rods came from near and far with many supporting our car show six straight years in a row now. The PHS Gridiron Gang was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! They helped make our event a huge success and truly have mastered the BBQ technique!! Not only was the food delicious but the amount of help offered from them was truly touching!! The answer we kept getting as we thanked them continued to be, Its all for the Kids!! Damascos graciously donated their famous zesty vinaigrette dressing while Tom Dompe selflessly cooked, out of this world beans. A thank you just doesnt seem to be enough... This years car show pulled in 135 beautiful cars and bikes, approximately 16 vendors & a substantial amount of support from the community!! People checked in anxiously to see if they had won cool raffle prizes while classic rock n roll oldies played throughout the day by the ever so talented DJ Bobby Sanchez. The awards show was a great success! Due to our amazing sponsors that so generously take time to donate and come down to choose their favorite hot rod or bike, 23 awards went home with very happy and deserving recipients!! The support from our sponsors & our community is so appreciated and Comforting Kids could not provide for these children without it. A BIG thank you to the amazing and talented Comforting Kids Car Show Committee Members... You are all so dedicated to such a great cause and work so incredibly hard throughout the entire year to help make this event a great success!! You truly believe in what you are working towards and it shows... Today could not have been a success without you!! A special thank you to the Westside Auto Club. Don Gomes has been an admirable mentor for us every year and again a thank you just doesnt seem to be enough...
