At the equator the Earth is spinning at 1,036 miles per hour relative to its axis. The Earth is rotating around the Sun at 67,062 miles per hour, 584,058,637 miles per year. The Moon is rotating around the Earth at approximately 2,287 miles per hour. Our solar system is rotating around the galactic center of the Milky Way at approximately 514,000 miles per hour. You are never sitting still. Your body is flying through space at thousands of miles per hour. You would imagine that these speeds are constant but they are forever being incrementally altered. Do not be afraid of change, your meat husk is already whipping through the cosmos at speeds you can not properly comprehend. Massive things are happening beyond your control. Stars are exploding and collapsing. Our Sun is itself changing in composition. An endless array of every day cosmic events could end all life on Earth at any moment of any day, including this moment of this day. The universe is not a static place, it is change. Open your mind and maybe you can manage a little change too.
