At the moment while writing this I am sitting on a beautiful screened in back porch and deck overlooking a mountainous drop-off cinder block path going straight down a hill covered with trees that I would swear, if I swore, it was in Pigeon Forge. The cabin, and I will send some pictures later, is ultra nice. It has a master bedroom, a second bedroom with two double bunk-beds and a beautiful pull out couch in the main room in front of the large wall mounted TV. All amenities are here central a/c, stove, dishwasher, pots, pans, refrigerator,microwave, bed linens, beautiful bath and floors. This place has to be rented for at least 2 nights totaling $246 with tax, but with Linda and I, Jeffrey and granddaughter Nicole, John Roys wife Sara, daughter Kimby and five of our great grands it was a bargain. And where is it you ask. It is Cabin #2 of four cabins at the Bogue Chitto State Park 4 to 5 miles below Franklinton off Hwy 25. Swimming, fishing, hiking whatever, the close location to Bogalusa and the atmosphere and ambiance is a stress-reliever place to be for a couple of days. Try it sometime.....
