At the statewide Health Councils and Community gathering hosted by the New Mexico Health Equity Partnership, New Mexico Alliance of Health Councils and the New Mexico Department of Health, health council and community members discussed the importance of considering health in a variety of policy domains. Participants engaged in peer to peer learning around working with local political structures, messaging, community planning and empowering communities through equity and inclusion.
