At the time of filling in our details with the Lloyds Community Group everyone was working hard to raise funds to purchase the Respite Caravan, since the selection process our hard work, dedication & commitment has seen Charity for Kids raise the funds to enable the 1st step towards our dream! We constantly strive to Make a Difference within our local community, therefore we are asking for your help once more to make this happen!! The Charity with the most votes will be awarded £3,000!! The Charity with the 2nd highest votes will receive £2,000, 3rd place will benefit with £1,000 & 4th place will see a cause be awarded with £500. These are all fantastic amounts of money! To give you an idea £3,000 would allow a poorly child a holiday of a lifetime with there family as a last wish!!! £2,000 would go towards a specialist light weight wheelchair, £1,000 will go towards a specialist tricycle & £500 will go towards an i-Pad which will help a child communicate with family & friends. Charity for Kids are currently in talks with Alexandra Park to see if we can add some specialist play equipment which bring both abled & disabled Children together, as you can imagine the cost of this equipment is not cheap!!!
