At this moment, His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa is leading the 7th Eco Pad Yatris in a cleaning drive in Kushinagar, where Lord Buddha passed into Mahaparinirvana. Tonnes of non-biodegradable rubbish have already been picked up, His Eminence Drukpa Yongdzin Rinpoche with two younger Rinpoches are also picking up used needles carelessly disposed, so that no living beings would be harmed by these dangerous objects. Lets pray and hope that more of such cleaning campaigns will finally educate humans about environmental issues. As His Holiness constantly reminds that Environmental protection is self protection.
