At this time 4 years ago we were sitting in a room with mamas Dr weighing her odds. They were very slim. Me and my sister made the hardest yet most humane decision we will ever make. We decided to make her a DNR. Its what she would want and to keep doing CPR was just too hard on her body. We removed all life sustaining measures. And exactly 1:17 she drew her last breath. I was one side and my sister who was scared to death on the other. We just kept telling her we loved her and it was ok to go. One single tear rolled down her cheek and she was gone. So on this day 4 years ago. I had the honor of holding her hand as she passed away. I thank God daily that we were with her and she knew we with her. I am not crying today. For the first time in 4 years Im at peace. I love and miss you so much mama. Cash and I have been talking about Granna all day.
