At this time of the year, many are busy hunting that last minute gift and trying their best to get all the things they need for a great family get together. And in all this hurry and mind boggling decisions that have to be made. It is easy to get distracted and forget to spend time with the Lord daily. Some may let their morning or evening prayer slip without saying it, some may let frustration and confusion make them angry, some may let bitterness steal their joy, and even some let their witness fall very short of what it should be. I just want to share this with you today, to try to help many. Without Jesus, there would be no reason for the season and without His grace and love, where would we be. The most precious gift that any of us have been given was Christ and he was the entire reason for this season. Matthew 1:21 says: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. You see, in this verse, one of the greatest gifts we could ever receive was mentioned in the last of it. We were gifted with a Savior! This Savior came so that you and I could have eternal life in Heaven. So, this season, let us not forget the first and most important Reason for the Season, was Christ! Take the time to cherish his gift and share it with others. Take it as serious as He did, when He hung on the cross for you and I. May God Bless You!
