At times dear friends it appears the whole world is spinning out of control doest it? Such turmoil so many needs and on and on. Sitting here this morning reading through the desperate needs coming across our ministry line. Sometimes I just want to throw up my hands , sit in a corner and wait on that eastern sky to bring forth what is promised to all who know Him......... I am thinking many before me have felt the same thing. I pray I wait I pray I try not to question and i wait some more. I try to stay focused on what the Lord would have me to do. Our food bank is very low at this time but once again I ask NOT for food but Walmart gift cards . I have asked many times , only to recieve one or two in the past months. I am no longer able to handle all the heavy food items. Its hard to imagine the work involved until you have done it. So I ask the Lord if maybe we are not to do the food bank? I f we do not have what is needed I always direct people to a ministry that may have the food. However we have met many needs that did not deal with food items. Its seems as low as the funds are at the moment at Forgotten Children Ministries of Jefferson County , when the need arises somehow someway a check shows up. I know full well thats God. I never question that through all of you, He will meet the needs He wants met through us. I am holding on as our annual benefit auction is just around the corner. THE THIRD SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER. Its a huge event. So I know If I just make it until then , through much hard work funds will be available for the winter months ahead. Because of so many of you ,we have held on as the Lord would have us to do. At times being so exhausted and just ready to quit. However after almost 30 yrs of service, I know the Lord is not finished with our family and reaching hurting people for Him. So we will continue on through His strength. I ask that all who know us and have been our help so many times in the past would pray and ask the Lord to continue to guide us in HIS WILL not ours. You will soon see much concerning our annual auction. Its takes so many to make it a success. Once more I thank all who has ever said a prayer, lifted a helping hand, sent a gift, no matter you are the very heart of this humble ministry.
