At times we make loving others complicated when really the only requirement for us to do so is in knowing that God loves us. Our ability to love is predicated on the fact that He loves us. Until we are convinced of His love for us it will be difficult to love others fully and beyond their faults and shortcomings. Until we are sure that we can be loved by God inspite of our failures, flaws, and mistakes then it will be hard for us to fathom loving someone else in spite of theirs. We dont deserve His love but He gives it anyway. Others may not deserve our love but in the same way we received it we should give it. Today challenge yourself to be persuaded of Gods love for you. Then pass that love on to someone else. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (I John 4:11)
