At today’s Cleansing Stream Retreat one of the Intercessors grabbed me to pray for her – she wanted prayer for healing. A very painful “fibromyalgia knot” on her right trapezius muscle had just flared up. Two sets of commanding prayers produced little to no results. When I checked in with the Holy Spirit, He led me to treat it like a spirit. I took authority over it and commanded it to leave…and it did. She reported no pain at all, and when asked to do something she could not do before she proceeded to fully raise her right arm over her head and extend it straight up. That uses the trapezius big-time! She was all smiles as she went to her assigned station to resume intercession. An addendum: a little while later she called for me to come over to her – it was back. I proceeded to perform a prophetic act of “grabbing” the fibromyalgia spirit, “pulling it out” of her shoulder in Jesus’ name, and “casting it to the ground.” Her eyes bugged! She told me that, even though I never touched her or her clothing, she could feel the spirit being pulled out of her shoulder. Once again she was back to being completely pain free. I told her to do to herself what I had done if it came back again, which it did. She proceeded to “grab” the spirit and “pull it out” of her shoulder herself. Then she gave me a smile and a double thumbs up. I have done a lot of deliverance at Cleansing Stream – that is what we are about – but I had never run into a spirit that caused fibromyalgia before.
