At work today a guest asked to speak with me and when that happens - it usually is not good. When I spoke to this man he explained that he and his wife go to establishments throughout the month of December and simply do acts of kindness. They randomly choose people and buy their meals/beverages. Tonight they chose two women dining together. He requested that I pay their bill anonymously and include a 30% tip. He also asked that I write on the back of their paid check “Pay it forward if you can”. After the couple left, I told the ladies of the “act of kindness” and I found out that they were both single Mothers with teenagers (Ive been there). They were so incredibly grateful, amazed and emotional. So was I… It was a great day to say the least… People are still good
