At work we where asked what we could do to improve the time we put customers on hold. My suggestion was to replace the hold music customers currently hear while waiting with brown noise. For those of you not familiar brown noise is a note that is ninety-two octaves below B-flat that supposedly causes the victim to shit themselves. This would work then on the basis that as callers had shit themselves they wouldnt stay on hold any longer or indeed callback ever again and suffer the same results. My manager wasnt too impressed with the idea. but I did point out it would be better than the current loop of utter wank music we make callers suffer. #holdtime #tsr #callcenter #bpo
