Atención a nuestro clientes, estamos ayudando a dos estudiantes de la universidad de Greensboro en un proyecto de Guantánamo, Cuba que va hacer exhibido temporalmente en el museo de Greensboro. Ellas están buscando personas que vivieron en Guantánamo en la época entre 1950 - 1980 que pueden hablar en un panel de su experiencia durante ese tiempo. No tiene que ser de Guantánamo originalmente solo haber vivido allá en esa época. Si se recuerdan de su experiencia y quieren participar por favor contacten a Brandie (su información esta abajo) UNC Greensboro’s Public History Department is participating in a national collaborative project—the Guantánamo Public Memory Project—that explores Guantánamo’s complex history and legacy. The project’s traveling exhibit will be at the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina in December 2013 and January 2014. We are planning a cultural event for the night of the exhibit’s opening and are seeking speakers—Cuban and American—who lived and/or worked aboard the U. S. Naval Station at Guantánamo during the Cold War era (roughly the late 1950s - 1980s, especially the years surrounding the Cuban Missile Crisis).
