Athlete profile : Alessia Zecchini , Italy . Alessia is from Rome and came here to Sardinia to dive in her first AIDA competition and has achieved two National records ! She said the change to Aida rules has been a little difficult but she is adjusting well . Her first success was the opening event ,static apnea with a realized performance of 6:39 . Alessia then went to the sea and did a beautiful constant weight dive of 84m , which was the second deepest dive by a female in the competition . Alessia said the conditions today were near perfect with calm seas and little current . The next discipline will be back in the pool with dynamic apnea and we will see if Alessia can go 3 for 3 ! Congratulations to Alessia and we hope to see her again soon in Aida competition .
