Atlanta needs The Bitter Southerner. They have been putting together some of the most well-crafted and beautifully-rendered writing about the contemporary southern experience--not just that of the well-heeled gentry or the ambered rustic artifacts, but of actual people and their times, from Killer Mike and the dancers at The Clermont Lounge to 20-somethings making textiles and transplants making cocktails. Folks who are redefining for themselves what the South is and what it means to be a part of it. We are proud to be allied with them and urge you to become card-carrying Bitter Southerners yourselves.
