The meeting will still be held at the Amigos School (15 Upton) and start at 6:30pm. I also included an advisory from the City Manager’s Office distributed today regarding the storm. [Advisory omitted .] If you have not done so already, I encourage you to register with the Cambridge Alert Network at the following link: cambridgema.gov/AlertNetwork.aspx. CodeRed is an alert service that contacts residents via telephone, e-mail, or text message in the event of an emergency, such as a blizzard, evacuation, or large scale water outage. Citizen Observer is used by the Police Department to notify community members of emerging crime patterns, announcements regarding neighborhood meetings and events, and crime prevention tips. An example of a Citizen Observer notification is below. The Cambridge E-Line communicates with community members via e-mail and text message with general information and communications from the city, such as street cleaning reminders and trash/recycling pickup.
