Attended a wonderful memorial service today at Aberdeen Proving Ground for our fallen hero, MG Harry Greene - killed last week in Afghanistan. His family was in attendance, which I didnt really expect, since his funeral will be at Arlington later in the week - but I have to say - all of our Senior Leaders that gave eulogies today did an amazing job expressing what an unbelievable loss this is - not for just his family and friends - but for our Army Community and this Nation. Losing him is very sad to so many. They shared his career, many going back years with him up at Fort Monmouth NJ - his knowledge, unconditional love for all people and his humor. We can all take lessons from the man he was - Rest in Peace MG Harry Greene!!
