Attended the Rev Up Singapore! Karting Championships on 30 Aug. It was great to see family and friends cheering on the 60 youths aged 15-21 years as they pit their skills against one another at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. It’s one of the new initiatives by Singapore GP to bring the Formula One excitement to more in our community. Indeed, it is the active involvement of Singaporeans, from the over 1000 ITE students in the circuit park to the many race officials, that makes our F1 night race special. My heartiest congratulations to Dominique Johann and Muhammad Ridhwan on winning the Championship in their respective categories. I am sure that with the prizes and scholarships that they have won, they will bring their passion for karting to the next level. I hope that all involved found the training workshops insightful and the race a memorable experience. I am looking forward to joining 2500 members of the public at the Marina Bay Street Circuit for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience on 18 September! #revupsg
