Attending a professional sporting event has changed a lot since I was a kid. Im curious how fans would behave on their own if there werent so many messages on the gigantic high-definition video boards instructing them to cheer at certain times, to GET LOUD, and LOUDER, with exciting colorful images of decibel meters rising and things exploding, close-ups of other fans screaming and going crazy, with heavy metal or loud rap music being played CONSTANTLY, and I do mean constantly. Its often very hard to carry on a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. Take away all that STIMULATION and the stadium (or arena) would be VERY different......maybe even.......God forbid......BORING. But you cant put the toothpaste back in the tube. The environment can only get wilder and more technologically advanced as years go by.........not that theres anything wrong with that.......its just a reflection of our society ;-)
