Attention -----> Reunion day is here! Saturday, Aug. 8, 2014: 2:30 pm - Tour of the newly renovated top floor courtroom. The beautiful ceiling dome and entire courtroom have been restored to a near original condition. If you have not seen this it is well worth the visit. Mike Kirkendall will be on hand to provide information and the history of the renovation. 4 PM - Tour of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, east side of the new high school on south Hwy 118. Paul Hoverman has arranged for the class to tour the NPAC. If you have not been through the NPAC, dont miss this chance to see the entire facility! 5 pm - Reunion at the Elks Lodge (new location west side of Van Wert on Van Wert-Decatur Road (old 224). Chat, visit, snack, eat, visit, look at photos (bring some by the way), eat, buy the beverage of your choice to set your mood, and remember just how great it used to be! Per head, $10.00 is for a simple meal. BBQ beef, potato salad, chips and cookies. Buy your beverage of choice there. The rental price of the Elks is also part of the $10. (There is zero money carried over from previous reunions.) It will be simple, casual and friendly. Late evening - The Van Wert Ribfest will be open late with live bands, plenty of ribs and beverage. Tote the fun and memories over to the south end of the Fairgrounds.
