Attention! City-Slickers, and Country-Dwellers!!! I use a solar-powered unit that is designed for cattle, but there are also very small battery-operated units that are designed for temporary campers, and hikers!!! This is a VERY safe, and effective, method to use when there are potentially dangerous animals (that includes people) near where you sleep, as well as to protect your home and garden areas from intruders, without using deadly-force..... My Uncle, Ivan, had piano-wires crisscrossed over his windows, in Oklahoma, charged with 50,000v during the 40s, 50s, and 60s, in order to protect his property and family from home-invasions!!! I dont think that ANYONE ever broke into his house!!!!! A two-layered fence works best on people, because if they DO manage to get past the first one, they are not expecting to run into another, so their guard is down!!! Sadly, we must sometimes take extraordinary steps to protect ourselves, in these violent days!!!!! But, at least this one is not deadly.....
