Attention EMC Music Academy Vocalists: I got this email that I wanted to share with you all... Hello Robin, My name is Demi Brown, and I am the public relations intern at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. I thought you and your students might be interested in knowing more about our seventh annual “O, Say Can You Sing?” competition. The competition is open to singers ages 8 to 18. Contestants will be auditioning for the chance to sing the national anthem alongside the BSO at the BSO’s annual Star-Spangled Spectacular held at Oregon Ridge Park on July 3-4, 2014. Auditions will be held Monday, May 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Times of auditions will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please tell your students about the auditions, and let me know if you need any more information!
