Attention La Rongers and members of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. :) If you know who i am than you know that i am very professional and have planned several events in and around the community such as the JRMCC Teen Glow in the dark dances, 2 different Edmonton trips for youth and the Kikinahk Teen Conference a few years back just to name a few. You would also know that ive been talking about getting back to event planning in a big way and now that my plans are laid out, details are being decided, lists are being made and proposals are being written up. Im going to just come out and tell you all. Ive begun putting together the plans and channels to host a grand pow wow here in La Ronge, The Gateway To The North but if you know me its not going to be just traditional, i want to combine our peoples culture with the lesser known youth and urban subculture to make something unforgettable. Ive got lists of people to approach and sponsors to bring on board and partners that ill need in doing all this but im confident I can do it provided I have the right people involved and the support of our community. This is definitely the biggest event ive ever shot for but i love a challenge. Wish me luck as tomorrow is day one in bringing this massive project together and tomorrow i approach the first of what i hope to be many partners. I look forward to working with you or seeing you get involved, any help is greatly appreciated, please comment or inbox if you would like to get involved in some way as any help is greatly appreciated and i definitely cant do this alone. You can also help by tagging in the comments somebody you know that may be able to help steer me in the right direction or who would like to become involved in this endeavor.
