Attention PIES. Help a Mom Out: My 15 year old son was placed in the spectrum when he was about 7 years old. He never received a formal diagnoses but Asperger seems to be the default diagnosis. He cant seem to be able to make any friends. He has been in several schools and is always the same story, he talks to people, he seems to be liked, he gets good grades, but doesnt make any friends. He has a robotic way of talking and his only topics of interest are movies, video games and super heroes. He is not the most interesting guy in the world, but I can’t understand why he couldn’t have at least one friend, or at least somebody that calls him on the phone about home work or something. Year after year is the same thing and we try things here and there but nothing works.
