Attention Parents: The Step Up for Students Program needs our help. A bill has recently passed which would allow families who have students in any school and meet the financial eligibility criteria to earn $5,272 to attend our school. The requirement that was formerly in place of attending a public school to be eligible will no longer used. The bill will now go to Governor Scott to be signed. However, the Step Up for Students Program needs our help - please read their message below: As you know, in order for a bill to become a law, the House, Senate, and Governor must all approve it. The House and Senate have done their part, soon the bill will reach Governor Scotts desk for his signature. Not everyone is happy about this. Its hard to understand why people are against legislation that gives parents access to schools that best work for their kids. However, many groups are pressuring Governor Rick Scott to veto the bill.
