Attention Ruth Younce: Dedicated to Frank Younce, with the notation, only an engineer! One of the most memorable lines from My Fair Lady didnt come from the movie, but from Frank. About thirty years ago we were watching this when he asked me around when it took place. I said, Around 1913, and he said, Oh, no, thats rolled culvert! It wasnt invented until MUCH later! The famous rolled culvert appears from about 1:47 to 2:27, or 40 seconds, and then again briefly at the end of the song. Since then I cant see rolled culvert without thinking of Frank, and this song!
