Attention S&T Students, Faculty, Staff, Employees, Volunteers, and Part-Time Workers: An individual was assaulted with a knife at the Budget Deluxe Motel about two blocks north of campus at Walnut and 19th. There is no description of the suspect. The incident did not involve a student, faculty, or staff. “The campus community is urged to be attentive of strangers and report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 911.” To Recap: an unknown and undescribed non-campus-related individual who attacked someone with a knife somewhat close-ish to campus is on the loose. Deviating from normal procedure, call the police if you see the aforementioned undescribed knife-wielder. Classes will proceed as usual.
