Attention Sophomore/Junior students and parents: Perry High School will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT on Wed., Oct. 16 at 7:51 a.m. in the Competition Gym. This test helps students get ready for the SAT by assessing critical reading, mathematical reasoning and writing skills. Juniors are entered into the National Merit Scholarship Corporation competitions for recognition and scholarships. Students will get suggestions on how to improve academic skills as well as request information from colleges and universities. The cost for juniors is $14, payable to Perry High School. Sophomores may take the test at no cost. Students must sign up in the guidance office by Oct. 4 if they wish to take the test. Once they sign up, they will get a detailed student guide for test prep. On test day, students should bring two No.2 pencils and a calculator. Happy testing! PHS Guidance Dept.
