Attention all Law School Faculty Advisors and Third Year Law students participating in Moot Court, Mock Trial or Trial Advocacy programs! For the 2013-2014 academic year, CourtCall will make our second annual award of $250.00 to each of two (2) third year law students at each ABA accredited US law school to be selected by each school’s Faculty Advisor(s). In order for a school to participate for the 2013-2014 academic year, the Faculty Advisor(s) must: 1. Contact our CEO, Bob Alvarado, at rva@courtcall prior to the close of business on 10/31/13 to register. 2. Prior to the close of business on 10/31/13 make a written announcement about the CourtCall Award on its website and to the eligible students including the selection criteria for the law school and provide that announcement and selection criteria to CourtCall at rva@courtcall. A school’s selection criteria as determined by the Faculty Advisor(s) may include but are not limited to: top grades, top overall competitive scores, top witness examination, top opening and/or closing statement, best written materials or combinations thereof and CourtCall assumes no liability for a school’s chosen selection criteria. 3. Finally, on or before April 15, 2014 the Faculty Advisor(s) must inform CourtCall at rva@courtcall of the identity of the award recipients as selected in accordance with the announcement and criteria previously provided to CourtCall. CourtCall will send the award directly to each law school’s Faculty Advisor for presentation and the law school will publish an announcement of the presentation of the award on its website.
