Attention all security guards..Im here by to inform you of the salary negotiations that was suppose to take place between employers, private security regulator and the unions which didnt take place and as a result weve come to the conclusion that we will be embarking on strike as from the 1st April 2014 untill they meet our demands. The employees has put on table a 100% salary hike as a basic salary plus medical aid which simply means you must earn a minimum of R6000 as per basic salary and the benefits thereof. We all know that theres a lot of security guards in south Africa than the SAPS, METRO POLICE AND the S.A ARMY combined so lets put South Africa on a stand still on the 1st of April, no bus, train, taxi or any office will function until we get what we deserve.
