Attention car people! Im in need of some guidance. Is it safe to assume that, if your check engine light comes on and then goes off again, that it wasnt a serious problem? This is my second car to do this and the second time with this car that the light has turned off hours before I had an appointment to get the light checked. Once it turns off, I cant get it checked so do I just not do anything? If I leave it alone, will my car eventually blow up and kill me? Its really toying with my emotions.
